What Does The Tutelage Expect From The Parents?
- Please log in 2-3 minutes early so that the children have time to organise themselves.
- All homework set by the Tutelage must be completed/attempted by pupils to the best of their ability. Persistent negligence in submitting homework on time may jeopardise the pupil’s place.
- A list of words is given out every week which will be tested the following week. It is expected that the child learns the spellings and meanings. Parents are expected to support their child in this. Constant lack of effort will be taken seriously.
- Fees to be paid in advance for the month by the first or second week. In the instance of absences, refunds will not be available. In the occurrence of a cancellation by The Tutelage, a refund will be issued.
- The class timings are fixed and cannot be changed to accommodate other tuitions /mock tests/school viewings.
Curriculum Covered
The Tutelage curriculum covers a broad range of topics including:
- Comprehension (detailed and multiple choice).
- Verbal reasoning - shuffle sentences, cloze, synonyms, antonyms, odd one out and many more.
- Creative Writing – short writing, long writing, narrative, instructional, letters and diary entry .
- The Classes prepare children for CEM, GL, CSSE and Independent school formats.
